Doesn’t Mean I Like You taken from The DeRellas upcoming album, Trust Me, This is
Going to Hurt, which was recorded and produced at the legendary Perry Vale Studios.
As the first taste of the new album, Just Because I Smile, It Doesn’t Mean I Like You is a
two and a half minute tequila shot of delicious splintered menace. Imagine Alice Cooper as
Taxi Driver’s Travis Bickle; “You Smiling at Me?”
Spawned by a world of plastic smiles and fakery, Just Because I Smile, It Doesn’t Mean I
Like You, looks beneath the veneer of our increasingly AI existence, exposing the rotten
venal motives and the very real damage it does to all of us.
The new single will be available on download from www.derellas.com, Bandcamp, iTunes,
Amazon, Spotify etc., from Friday 31 January.

What a great time we had on our mini tour of Brussels, Ieper and Essen. It was so good to see friends after almost three years. Thanks to all the promoters and venues and friends and fans who came out to show us why we keep doing this.
